BARRIERS: A Muslim Asian American Play

Barriers is a new play by Rehana Mirza about a Muslim Asian-American family's struggle to overcome loss, backlash, and dysfunctionality after 9/11. The play opens with the homecoming of the only daughter, Sunima, who is returning to her New Jersey home from New York City to announce her pending engagement. The family is forced to confront past betrayals and issues. Join us and witness one of only twelve moving performances brought to life by a talented and stunning cast:
